Condolences

Condolence From: Nilda Esther Barrett
Condolence: Mr. Clark was an amazing lawyer. He worked on my father's probate of land he had owned in Palaka 21 years ago We meet with him a few weeks ago to do the probate of my mother Nilda S. Fernández on the same property.

I was preparing to send him some documents and found his obituary. My condolences to his family.

As professional lawyer I was impressive at the legal quality of this work and well as taking care of a probate case in one day.

We enjoy our meeting a few weeks ago.
Feeling the loss of his passing.

Is there another attorney taking over his cases?

He was always kind, pleasant and brilliant as an attorney.

Sending prayers to God for him, and his family.

Condolence: Dear Krystee, Brandon, Tammy, and Family,

We are deeply grieved by the passing of your father, Mr. Ronnie Clark. He was always so kind to us, not just as an attorney, but also as a person. He liked to reminisce with our father, Herman, and said he used to shine Dad's shoes (our dad is now 96 and knew your dad's parents and siblings for many years).

We know this great man is in Heaven with His Lord. He worked hard and compassionately, and now he is reaping his many rewards.

Love,

Margaret, Herman, and Elfriede Melzer and Family

Condolence: God’s Tour Guide?

As I watched today’s ceremony, I couldn’t help but think of my own “Ronny story”:

On one of my first meetings with him I engaged his services to represent me. The case ended up being heard in an “adjoining” county. As we walked thru the courthouse it seemed as if he knew everyone in the place! The assistant clerk, the assistant clerk’s assistant, security guards, baliffs, PSAs on and on and on. I don’t know if he actually knew them or not but THEY SEEMED TO THINK HE DID! It was like walking thru Hollywood with a “real” Star! My mind however, was on the case only and I was thinking “Crud, am I going to have to pay his hourly rate for him to talk to EVERYONE in the courthouse??”

Well, I soon realized that even if he did charge me for it, I had hired the right guy. Before the proceedings began, the Judge asked him to approach sidebar and ONLY him (which I had never seen in a courtroom in 10 years of witnessing hearings). When he returned, he had that “Ronny smile” and I asked what that was all about.

Ronny whispered “The Judge wanted to thank me, he had asked me to see if I could get his daughter admitted to a certain State University and he wanted to say that he “didn’t expect me to pay for it” and appreciated me getting her a FULL-RIDE athletic scholarship instead!”

Let it be said Ronny earned every penny winning that case!

I can’t think of anyone else I’ve known personally or professionally like him, I imagine when it’s my turn I’m going to have to meet everyone else in heaven because he will know everyone there also!

Condolence: Great attorney, loyal supporter and a good friend of mine. In 1975, my then attorney Kate "Miss Kate" Walton told me that if she was charged with murder she would want Ronnie Clark to defend her. When she died in 1985, Ronnie said, "I'd rather kiss a rattlesnake on the lips than have to go up against Kate Walton in court." A couple of years ago I shared with him what Miss Kate had told me. He was surprised and pleased. I don't think either one knew they were admired by the other.

Condolence: When I first moved here he went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. He represented me legally and was a gifted negotiator. So glad he became a good friend over the years. God Bless, Ronnie.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the family for this tremendous loss. May the words found at Isaiah 26:19 bring you comfort in knowing that you will one day see Ronnie again.

Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life"

Condolence: My deepest sympathy and prayers. He was a wonderful man, with a generous heart. I had the pleasure of serving his drinks and enjoying his company, along with the entire "round table" at the Elks Lodge. He made Putnam County a better place. He will be missed.
