Thomas Glynn Reynolds, 85, of Daytona Beach Shores, passed from this life on Friday, December 1, 2017 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Hollister, Florida, Glynn lived all his life in Putnam County until moving to Daytona Beach Shores a year ago. He served in the National Guard. Glynn was a mill electrician for 44 years, retiring in 1993 from Georgia Pacific. He had served as President of Local # 1583 IBEW. Glynn was the oldest living member of Pineland Lodge #86 F&AM. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Palatka and had also attended the United Methodist Church in Interlachen and First Baptist Church in Salt Springs when he lived in the Scrub. Glynn was an avid hunter and was a member of several hunting clubs in Georgia. He also loved surf fishing and time spent scalloping at Keaton Beach and in Steinhatchee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Reynolds and Vera Tanner Reynolds, 2 sons, Jacky Lee Bennett and Thomas Glynn Reynolds, Jr., a sister, Edna Conklin and a grandson, Terry Wiggins.
Glynn is survived by his wife of 45 years, Evelyn Reynolds of Daytona Beach Shores, 3 daughters, Glenda Sue Reynolds of Jacksonville, Angela Gaye Fox (Rusty) of Palatka and Dana Stoll (Tim) of Vancouver, WA, 4 grandchildren, Melissa Emerson, Scott Castle (Niki), Jacky Joe Bennett and Jerrid Bennett, 10 great-grandchildren and a niece, Annette Parker.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pineland Lodge #86 F&AM conducting Masonic Rites. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 A.M until the time of services at 11:00 A.M.
