Louie "Hank" Meredith III
Louie Henry “Hank” Meredith, III, 63, of Interlachen, passed from this life unexpectedly on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Putnam Community Medical Center. Born in Macon, Georgia, Hank resided in Interlachen for 53 years, coming from Jacksonville. He served in the U.S. Army Special Forces. Hank retired in 2017 from Windstream where he had worked for 40 years as a technician. He was a member of Living Hope Family Worship Center in Florahome. Hank also served as cook for the “Breaking Chains” recovery group. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, air boats and race cars.
Hank is survived by his wife of 17 years, Anita Meredith of Interlachen, his parents, Louie and Thelma Meredith of Interlachen, a son, Justin Meredith, 4 daughters, Jessica Brown of Palatka, Mia Garcia, Lacey Meredith of Starke and Kaitlyn Meredith of Interlachen, a brother, Mike Meredith of Melrose, 2 sisters, Deborah Meredith of Green Cove Springs and Tracy Hornsby of Interlachen and 8 grandchildren.
Memorial services celebrating Hank’s life will be at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Living Hope Family Worship Center in Florahome with Pastor Dave Spedden and Bro. Charles Litzell officiating.
