Nathan Andrew Brinker, 32, of Palatka, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Nathan was a blessing to all who knew him. His gentle, loving spirit and bright smile touched everyone he met. Nathan attended Palatka High School and E.H. Miller and graduated in 2004. He loved scouting and earned his Eagle Scout rank in Troup 247. Nathan’s amazing sweet self was evident in all he did. The artist in him loved to paint animals and nature, music made him happy and his favorite was Michael Jackson. When you think of “Nate Dawg Brinker” you will remember his happy smile and innocent nature. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lydia Brinker.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Richard and Ann Brinker of Palatka, 3 brothers, Timothy Brinker (Melanie) of Cantonment, Jeffery Brinker of Winston Salem, NC and Daniel Brinker (Sandy) of Jacksonville, a sister, Megan Brinker of Palatka, 7 nieces and nephews, Kaelin Brinker, Will Brinker, Karli Brinker, Kenli Brinker, Keaton Brinker, Dominique Robinson and Vander Robinson and Nathan’s best friend, Robert Savage.
Services celebrating Nathan’s life will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Palatka with Bishop Michael Curtis presiding. Burial will follow at Peniel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 P.M. at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
