Obituary for Milton Stockton Chesser
Milton Stockton Chesser, 85, of Orlando, passed from this life on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Palatka, Milton resided in Cocoa Beach from 1959-67 and in San Mateo from 1967-70. He has been a resident of Orange County for the past 47 years. Milton was an electrical contractor and owned and operated AA Electric Company in Orlando for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Chesser and Gertrude Lamb Chesser and a grandson, Steven Brown.
Milton is survived by his wife of 58 years, Millie Bradley Chesser of Orlando, his children, Robin Newell (Jay) of Longwood, FL, Lynda Chesser Schacht (Bill) of Grand Rapids, MI, Tara Spencer (Todd) of Seattle, WA, Gaye Lea Chesser Mead (Mike) of Apopka, FL, Amy Mercurio (Jim) of Hillsboro, OR, George Silk of Huntsville, AL, Cheryl Melton (Randy) of Centre, AL, a sister, Marie Rightmire of Hollister, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Ronnie Bradley & Ricky Bybee officiating. Burial will follow at Hollister Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 P.M until the time of services at 2:00 P.M.
