Obituary for Harold Edward Curington
Harold Edward Curington, 74, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Community Hospice Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine following an extended illness. He was born on June 6, 1943 in Brandon, Florida and was a pharmaceutical sales rep for 33 years. He lived in Florahome for the past 30 years where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working outside on his land. Harold “Pop” delighted in giving and helping those around him and cherished spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Myron and Reefie Curington and his brother John Curington.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mickey Curington, children, Cindy Mathis (Monty), Melinda Griffis (Scott) and Harold E. Curington (Allison), brother, James Clinton Curington (Joyce), grandchildren, Kristin Evon (Matt), Ken Mathis (Sarah), Kate Smith (Lloyd), Kelcee Griffis, Kember Griffis, Kameron Griffis, Kason Griffis, Emily Curington and Dylan Curington, and great-grandchildren, Eva Mathis and Cooper Mathis.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church of Keystone Heights (3716 SE St Rd 21) with Brother Larry Litzell officiating.
