Margaret Grace Perry, 80, of Palatka, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Putnam Community Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born in Covington County, Alabama and lived most of her life in Putnam County coming from Florala, Alabama. Margaret was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, working in her yard and watching her soap operas. In addition to her love for her cats and dogs, she dearly loved her family and especially time spent with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. “Junior” Perry and her parents, Oscar Kimbro and Emma Mason Kimbro.
Margaret is survived by 3 sons, John Clifford “Cliff” Perry and Ronald David “Davey” Perry both of Palatka and Martin Timothy “Timbo” Perry (Wanda) of Hollister, 2 brothers, Walt Kimbro and Billy Kimbro (Jeannette), a sister, Evelyn Tedder (J.C.) all of Florala, AL, 2 grandchildren, Naomi Perry and Travis “Bubba” Driggers, a step-grandson, Clint Hersey and 4 great-grandchildren, Malachi Curley, Theron McVan, Mi Mi Brooks and “K.K.” Brooks.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 30, 2018 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
