Frances Darlene Bailey, 66, of Hollister, became absent from the body and in the presence of the Lord on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. A native of St. Augustine, Darlene was a 1969 graduate of Paxon High School in Jacksonville and resided in Putnam County since 1981 coming from Jacksonville. Darlene was a licensed practical nurse for 36 years, having worked at Memorial Hospital and Jacksonville General Hospital, Putnam Community Medical Center, with Dr. Craig Raby, Family Medical, Upjohn as well as Palatka Health Care Center and several other home health providers in the area. She was an active member of First Assembly of God in Palatka. She was a Sunday school teacher and choir member at various other church families throughout her life.
