Melinda B. Darrah,66, of Melrose, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Rome, Georgia to Dennis Boalch and Mary Virginia Layton Boalch, she resided in Melrose for the past 8 years moving there from Interlachen where she lived for 35 years. Melinda had worked 8 years in the water and cemetery division with the Town of Interlachen. She had also worked as a sales clerk with the Handy Way Convenience Store at Lady Slipper Lake for 2 years. Melinda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Interlachen.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clarence Darrah of Melrose, her children, Franklin Darrah of Marion County, FL, Mary Warren of Interlachen and Andrew Darrah (Kaitlyn) of Gainesville, 3 brothers, Michael Boalch of Jacksonville, Martin Boalch of Ohio and Mark Boalch (Carla) of Key Tavernier, a sister, Mary Frances Lee of Tampa and 4 grandchildren, Megan Murray, Emma and Abby Warren and Lorenzo Darrah.
