Margaret Ellen Wilkinson, 72, of Bardin, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at her home following an extended illness. Born in East Palatka to Nelson Eugene Cribbs and Elsie Lee Cribbs, she was a lifelong resident of Putnam County. “Joley”, as she was affectionately known to family and friends, was a homemaker and many years ago had worked at Bradshaw Seating (later BCH Seating). She had attended Bethany Baptist Church. Among her interests were working and cleaning her yard and spending time with family, especially with her grand and great-grand-kids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of 38 years, Randall Wilkinson and a son David “Clint” Wilkinson.
Joley is survived by her children, Freddie Wilkinson (Melissa) of Bardin, Claude Wilkinson of Palatka, Donna Russell (John) of Palatka, step-daughters, Janice Boring (Billy) of Beech Island, SC and Teresa Dickey (Keith) of Augusta, GA, her siblings, Margie Murrow of Palatka, Della Cribbs of Palm Coast, Michael Cribbs and Mannie Cribbs, both of East Palatka, Robert Cribbs (Carrie) of Cross Plains, TN, Jeffrey Cribbs (Patti), Frankie Cribbs, Archie Cribbs (Christine) all of East Palatka, Vernon Cribbs (Jamie) of St. Augustine and Junior Cribbs (Teresa) of East Palatka, 17 grandchildren, Dustin Wilkinson, Joshua Wilkinson, Lee Wilkinson (Lyndsey), Shayne Wilkinson, Shianne Wilkinson, Tyler Wilkinson, Shawn Wilkinson, Steven Wilkinson, Ethan Wilkinson, Bradon Wilkinson, Chrissy Davidson (Ray), Travis Hall (Whisper McQuaig), Devin Russell (Courtney), Lisa Wilkinson (Tyler Capone), C.J. Wilkinson, Faith Wilbanks and Nyci Kellum (Earl), 13 great-grandchildren, special brother-in-law, Warren Wilkinson and special sister-in-law, Susie Reid (Kenny).
Services celebrating Joley’s life will be at 2:00 PM. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor John Cameron officiating. Burial will follow at Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services at 2:00 P.M.
