Donald Watson “Don” Barlow, Jr., 76, of Keystone Heights, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan to Donald Watson Barlow, Sr. and Marjorie Jane Bruckert Barlow, he resided in Keystone Heights for the past 3 years moving there from Grandin where he resided for 21 years. Don was the owner and operator of Barlow Associates, a computer consulting and agriculture software business. Prior to that, Don co-owned and operated O.E.M. products, pioneers in the field of solar energy.

He had attended the First Baptist Church in Keystone Heights. In his leisure time, Don enjoyed fishing, was an avid hunter and cherished spending time with his family and friends around the campsite. He was also an avid NASCAR fan of Bill Elliott and those that drove his car. Don was a 40 year Mason as a member of the Brandon Lodge #114 F&AM.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Barlow.
Don is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cheryl Barlow of Keystone Heights, 2 daughters, Theda Burchardt of Gainesville, GA and Amanda Johnson of Keystone Heights, his beloved step-mother, Margaret Berry of Louisville, KY, his siblings, Ellen Colliard (George) and Carol Barlow, all of Sarasota, Gail Mueller (Richard) of Blakely, GA, Dianne Summitt of Louisville, KY and Allen Swasey (Martha) of Thermopolis, WY, 5 grandsons, Daniel Burchardt, Cole Burchardt, Joshua Burchardt, Robert Wade Johnson and Hunter Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews who loved their uncle Don.
Memorial services celebrating Don’s life will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Keystone Heights with Mike Murray, deacon and Gerry Horton, associate pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00.
