Craig Meyer Bergerstock, 77, of Palatka, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 peacefully under the care and compassion of Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center among family and friends.
To send flowers in memory of Craig Meyers Bergerstock, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
Craig, “Bergy” as he was known to many, was born in Auburn, NY to Coral and Marion Bergerstock. He was a talented machinist who worked for Auburn Spark Plug in Auburn, NY manufacturing aircraft spark plugs until his move to Florida in 1986, where he then went to work for Ryan Manufacturing and Blue Sky Farms.
Craig is survived by his daughters, Lisa DuPont (Randy) and Shelene Back (Bob), granddaughter, Nicole DuPont, great-grandsons, Trenton and Paxton, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Duane Bergerstock and his beautiful wife, Barbara, who passed into heaven in July of 1984.
Bergy never met a stranger, greeted all with a smile, handshake or hug. He gave unconditional love to any and all. He will be greatly missed by not only his girls, but also by the many who also referred to him as “Daddy Berg”.
As his wishes, no services are planned at this time, but a celebration of life and fun times with Bergy will be organized at a later time.
We gratefully thank everyone for the compassion shown to our family at this time. Special thanks to Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center and special friends/caregivers, Bobby and Sue Yelvington. You are greatly appreciated.
Memories and condolences may be expressed to the family at Craig’s Book of Memories page at www.johnsonoverturffunerals.com .
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
