Sharon McCullar Register, 75, of Hastings, passed from this life on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine. Born in Palatka, Sharon was a lifelong resident of Hastings. She was a 1962 graduate of Hastings High School where she the homecoming queen and played the clarinet in the Hastings High Band. Sharon had worked as a bookkeeper and secretary at several Hastings area businesses including Barnes Fertilizer, Hearne Produce, Derek Cheshire Farms, Sykes and Cooper Farms, Tri County Produce and William Revels Farms. She had also worked at the Hastings Atlantic Bank. Sharon was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Hastings where she was the pianist for many years and enjoyed being a vital part of VBS. Sharon was also a master gardener.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James E. McCullar and Marion Kenney McCullar, a son, William Eugene Register, Jr., a grandson, Jerad Anthony Revels and a granddaughter, Chelsea Elaine Johnson.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 55 years, William Register of Hastings, 3 daughters, Teresa Jurgens (Darren) of Bellevue, Tami Rich (Mark) of Bardin and Terri Register of Hastings, a sister, Jacqueline Burnette (Malcolm) of Atlanta, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and another coming soon.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Palatka Memorial Gardens with Bro. Buddy Lynch officiating.
