Frank A. Strange, 81, of Palatka, FL, loving and devoted husband, father, and papa entered his eternal home on Monday, December 9, 2019. Frank was born on June 28, 1938 in Tampa, FL., raised in Norfolk Virginia, and became a resident of Peniel in 1959. He served his Country for 4 years in the United States Airforce. He had numerous work experiences from working as a missile technician at Cape Canaveral, to an automotive machinist, then a small business owner, and retired in 1998 from traveling around the U.S. for nuclear power shutdowns. He enjoyed being a private pilot and flying for the Keystone Skydive Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson and Mary Lou Strange; his sisters, Vivian Strange, Ione Ivo and Joan Beaver; and one brother, Jim Strange.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Katherine Diver Strange of Palatka, FL, his three children, Ginger (Ramdas) Nair of Coatesville, PA, Esther (Bobby) Simmons of Palatka, Frank Andrew (Eileen) Strange of St. Augustine; and his grandchildren, Erin (David) Edwards, Marie Strange, Brandon Sullivan, Weston Simmons, Christie Simmons, Kat (Tristan) Wood, Jack Strange, Jimmy Strange, and Krish Nair; his great grandchildren, Austyn Johnson, Hailey Johnson, Analyn Strange, Taylor Edwards, and Cambron Simmons.
By his request his body has been donated to the University of Florida for medical research.
Memorial services will be held at Peniel Baptist Church on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00am. Pastor Benny Reynolds will be officiating. Calling hours for the family will be one hour prior to the service.
