Marvella K. Anders, 87, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at her home following an extended illness. She was a native of Safford, Arizona and had lived in Putnam County since 1965 coming from Pima, Arizona. She had worked at Georgia Pacific as a machine operator for 30 years. Marvella enjoyed sewing and loved making clothes for her children. She was famous for her carrot cake, divinity and fudge. Marvella was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints Interlachen Ward.

She is preceded in death by her husband Owen J. Anders, Jr., parents, Alma Lee Kight and Dora Pulsipher Kight, sons, Gary Theron Wilkins, Owen Anderson Anders and James Alma Anders as well as 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Marsha Roach of Andalusia, Roxann Wilkins of Hollister, Neva Griner of Crescent Beach, Sandra Key (Randy) of Hollister, and Tamyra Wilkins of Interlachen, brother Varlyn Dee Kight (Madeline) of Pima, AZ, 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints in Interlachen with Bishop George DeLoach conducting. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen. No public visitation is scheduled.
