R N Duncan, 81, of Satsuma, passed from this life on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka. Born in Largo, Florida, he resided in Putnam County for 60 years coming from Jasper, Florida. He served honorably in the U.S. Army reserves. R N worked as a data processing operator at Georgia Pacific for 46 years retiring in October 2003. He was also a founding member of the Satsuma Volunteer Fire Dept. In his leisure time, R N loved gardening around his home and helping his neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Flarzell Duncan, a brother, Kenneth Eugene Duncan and a sister, Doris Hammond.
R N is survived by a son, Robert Neal Duncan (Dawn) of Satsuma, 2 grandchildren, Robert Neal Duncan, Jr. (Kim) and William Jarred Duncan (Lily) and 3 great-grandchildren, Colin Duncan, Kayden Duncan and Vanessa Doueiki.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 10, 2020 at Memorial Cemetery in Lake City with Pastor E.A. Holbrooks officiating. No public visitation is scheduled.
